30 Mauser is supposed to be lower pressure, why does COW show a factory load of an 86 gn bullet at 1410 fps for. I'm onlying going to load them for plinking, so I won't be hot rodding either round, but intend to keep them separate anyway. I also have read the history of both cartridges from multiple sources so no need to rehash all that. 30 Mauser (7.63 Mauser) is dimensionally identicle (or very close, depending on the source), but should be loaded to lower pressures than 7.62X25. I have everything needed except quantities of brass.Īnyway, I've read countless times that. I currently load about 40 other cartridges, but haven't messed with these yet. I have both, and intend on reloading both, if brass ever becomes available again.
